The Story

Welcome!

Well, I'm just a twenty year old college student at the University of Arkansas in love with Jesus who wants to see the injustice of human sex-trafficking come to an end. Eventually, I got tired of sitting around and not doing anything about it, so I decided SOMETHING was better then nothing. This led to the begining of a campaign to raise $10,000 to fund the building of a Safe Home for girls rescued out of the red light district in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

This blog was birthed as a place for me to promote that campaign and trafficking awareness, but more so as a safe place where I can pour out my heart regaurding the issue and through that stir up some conversation, questions, desire to do SOMETHING. Through this blog I can bring up the tough stuff...the questions no one wants to ask. The facts that seem too overwhelming to comprehend. The issues surrounding the plight of these women. I want to just be able to express the brokeness God has placed upon my heart for these girls. I want to addres the struggles, the joys, the trials, the depths of the pain experienced. I want to share this journey of fundraising, this journey of faith, this journey of brokenness...this journey of HOPE in the God of Gods who pulls us out of the pit...this journey with the GOD WHO REDEEMS lives.
